yes I'm aware of the irony of my icon vs. my need for an LJ cut. Deal. =)

Gorgeous! You have such a nice grasp of anatomy, and her hair has a wonderful flow to it.

These sketches express a definite artistic relief or release. Seems you really needed this.

I don't think that the anatomy or proportion or lighting or anything is what's important here, it's the feeling...and these definitely have feeling. Nice job.

Thank you, and yes, it was MUCH needed. it felt so nice to draw something without having to make it look good for once.

I love those! The shading is great.
It's nice to get away from drawing animals/anthros sometimes :)

I don't have any choice but to deal, but I'll still bitch.

I love reading your posts on my friendsfriends page. But I often check it when I need a short break at work. I can't read it anymore during the because you like putting lovely artistic nudes under cuts, but still use bare-titted sexual oggling uncut.

aw man Im sorry D:

Gah. I hate cutting nudes in the first place, I really really do, mostly because I like getting traffic on my art and LJ cuts ALSO cut my traffic in half. Using that icon is kinda me being a jerk because I'm really bummed about having to cut them in the first place. Didn't know it affected people that badly. I wonder if its worth it to use LJ filters and browse filters at work?

Belatedly...

Getting an image load on your art though still doesn't mean someone actually looks at it, when it's on a friends page. So directly equating loads with intentional traffic aimed at seeing your images doesn't compute.

On cuts, you never know who might accidently see your art doing something like a friendsfriends view or just finds your personal LJ through the communities you moderate or a comment you mage on someone else's LJ. It could be someone under 18, could be someone who's offended by any nudity, or it could be someone like me who's taking a quick read from work.

I think by doing the cut, you show that you're aware that nudity's not appropriate in all situations. Which is why it seems odd then for you to use that icon. If you are going to be showing a photo of a bare breast, you might as well uncut the images of nudity.

On filters: I don't think you can filter the friendsfriends page. Even if I could, filters are inclusive (add people to a filter), not exclusive (show my all posts from everyone, except person X).

Anyway, thanks for responding. :)
