Elsa - The art of Thornwolf

Elsa
Some speculative sketches based on Silber's Elsa character and her possible background. Oh btw..that is my new American Carolina dog pilot char she's talking to. He...currently has no name. Suggestions?
Please ignore the crappy dialogue, I never proof read these things before I scan em...god my sketches are messy.

He looks like a three letter name sort of guy.

Maybe Sam or Ace?

LOL actually I thought the same. Ace came to mind but eh. its so cliche. Sam...Ill think about.

...but then again its been done in a film noir setting already. Sam Spade anyone? =) Ill keep it in mind.

He looks like the sort who'd have a Sam Spade voice, I think. :)

lol, Yes, but dogs are decended from wolves, and there's a lot of wolfy influence in his features. Nothing wrong with that, I prefer wolflike dogs, too. I was merely commenting on your amazing ability to make male canines uber hawtness. And that's not a bad thing. ^__^

ps that icon is adorable.

You need not worry...they dun all look like woofs. (Pauses) My great friend up in Durham had a Carolina Dog and you seemed to have gotten it down damn near perfect!! The ears 'n muzzle 'specially look spiffy 'n accurate. And I like your messiness 'n sketchiness. I aspire to one day sketch this messily as it looks much better in my opinion than clean sketching.

Oh excellent! I'm glad to hear that =D Actually I've never seen one in person, but my friend crowebasalt who's a carolina dog therian introduced me to them and I really wanted to make a character.

And about messy sketches, really? I've always loved people's ability to sketch so cleanly!

Well...grass is always greener and all that =)

(Chuckles softly) Yes, yes...I <3 messy sketches like yours 'n Teagan's. Whenever I sketch, it usually comes out forcibly neat 'n then I end up not getting on the paper what I had in mind. But ja...each to their own! I'll keep admiring yours and you can keep loving...those who sketch cleanly! (Laughs and nods)
