Dinosaurs! Yes!
Dude you guys remember this from the 80's? I didn't remember it was hosted by Christopher Reeve, I just remember it from the awesomely violent but gruesome (read "juicy") stop motion animation. Scared me in parts as a kid but OH YES DINOS! I tried to find it before but to no avail. Awesome :D LOL outdated info. I'm sad they didn't show Mr. Rex or Dinny though :( (Cabazon Dinos)

Brontosaurus is such a sweet guuuuuuuuuuuuuy

LOL Shelley Long. Look at the scary red eyes on Deinonychus. :( THIS IS WHY I FEAR THEM!

Baby you gonna get ate.

This was terrifying to me.

LOOK AT THE DINOSAUR MAN OH MY GOD

Ooooh, I remember the claymation pieces from an old (windows 95ish) interactive dinosaur-themed videogame. They had them in the theatre section among a few other dinosaur-themed short films. I remember being scared of them but completed amazing at the same time. XD Good to know where they came from, though. ;D

I HAD THIS SOFTWARE! It was awesome! Mine was for Windows 3.1. I was so impressed with it. Some of it was the first CG dinosaurs I ever saw. Do you remember all the weird games and stuff? It was called 3D dinosaur or something I think.. it came with 3d glasses, but only a few parts of it were 3D XD

Lord I still have the CD ROM somewhere, I gotta try and find it.

DUDE YES 3D Dinosaur with the 3D glasses!!! I remember the games, and they even had this neat dinosaur building application where you could choose a 3D model of a species and then select different skin patterns for it. Hilarious XD

I'm pretty sure I still have it too, but I've lost hope for it ever workin' on my Vista computer haha

HA! That's right! There were weird skins available, like WOOD?? WTF XD
I wonder if I could get it to run on a DOS emulator. It was actually a DOS based program! At least my version of it was. Windows 3.11 was like... pretend Windows and nearly everything used DOS to run XD

Wow - If I'd seen this when it came out, I'd have probably gotten into dinosaurs sooner than Jurassic Park. As it is, I am entertained at how young the paleontologists look, and I had to dig out my JP stegosaurus with all the autographs on it to see if I had Phil Currie on there. I do! Cool. 35 names on there, and some of them are getting a bit illegible. I think I will enlist the help of Luis Rey to help me identify who's who. Maybe with a proper list I can sell it on ebay. Or better yet - find a way to preserve it so the names stop wearing off :P

Oh and I had to find this link after seeing the end of the last video clip: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A5439-2005Jan12.html

Oh and I saw that guy in your Large Marge icon at the Post Office today on a poster advertising about updating your TV. I think it was by the "DTV Transition Coalition." I was amused by the coincidence since you just posted the pics.
