San Diego - La Jolla Cove (Pronounced "La Hoya")
I have fond memories of snorkeling in La Jolla Cove as a child, so I figured I'd take skorzy there to show him the caves and the awesome snorkeling spots.

The caves have since had to be reinforced to prevent collapses. During high tide you can't really go through them. skorzy, who has a longer leg reach than I and could hop over the rocks without getting his shoes wet unlike me, was able to go through to the other side where he saw some sea lions :) I stayed behind and played with the little crabs and fish that accumulate between the rocks.

Should I let you know when we go snorkeling? :3 would be nice to hang out. Obviously we'll go when it gets warmer, probably spring/summer XD

When I see interesting rock formation like those I always think that I'd like to take Geology classes! :P I love Geology so much! XD

I hope to gain enough money soon because I'd really come down there for a visit (for now I think I'll in Ireland first; It's a bit closer ;) BTW, looking at that hotel I thought a thing: How far is Hearst's Castle - St. Simeon from your zone? I'd really would love to visit it someday :P

I only remember the Cove for the cliff diving, parking tickets and posh dining. Looks like I have to go back. :>

Ive seen cliff divers but I'd be too scared. It looks too shallow to me honestly. I remember getting bashed up against the rocks when i was snorkeling too so waves are also very important.

And oh there was posh dining certainly. We went to Alfonso's mexican restaurant though. Slightly less posh but /very/ delicious :)
