Death Valley - Artist Drive
Next up is Artist Drive, a pathway that takes you through several sedimentary rock formations that due to their chemical makeup, come in a variety of different colors that look like paint splotches. I never knew rocks came in Seafoam Green but...there you go.

Interesting! Something to change up the scenery a bit anyway, though I think I prefer the woods. Still, the hills have their own beauty.

I haven't been through Death Valley yet. Matt has been meaning to take me. We almost went last summer but then decided we'd probably die in the heat. His mom told us that once when she was there she had to pee so they pulled over, and it pretty much evaporated before it hit the ground. XD

You do realize you're just making me want to try it out now, yes? :D

We're planning 2 more trips to Death Valley I think soon. The next one is with another friend of mine and we're offroading so I can't invite other people on this one, but another one I'm sure would be fine, if we do go again aside that, would you like me to alert you?

*laughs* I kinda want to try it too! But yeah, I'd love a heads up for one of your adventures. :D As long as it's not the weekend of Thanksgiving we should be available - my parents are coming then. First time they've flown! Should be interesting. :)

I wonder if there is a reason why the deposits where exposed here and not at other places. hmmm

Very intriguing indeed.
