Frostbite

"Frostbite" -colored pencil on toned paper
A small pack of arctic werewolves run down a lone musk ox on the frozen tundra. This primitive but highly intelligent werewolf race uses crude tools to aid them in taking down larger prey.

My contribution for the Werewolf Calendar 2010 project. More details can be found at their website, here: http://werewolfcalendar.com/

This piece will be available in the art auction at Further Confusion 2010

I'm totally putting a bid on it. Are you going to find a fitting frame for it? :3

I'm going to double mat it so it looks nice, but a standard size so whoever buys it won't have problems finding a pre-made frame for it if they choose not to spend for a custom one (I try to do this anyways, cuz, well, framing stuff is a pain in the ass and can get pricey for unusual sizes). The only reason I'm not framing it already is in case someone who came via plane wins it and can't easily transport it with glass

Wow, saw this and meant to comment on it - gorgeous! I love all the action in it - you really carried the idea through successfully from the sketch! I love all the colors you worked into their coats, as well. Really impressive! :D
