It has come to my attention that ArtSpots' print service has been out of commission for quite some time (months?), and as such, anyone who purchased a print from the site during this down time will have their orders canceled and be given a refund (Last I heard, the refunds were supposed to go out Monday).

I have no idea if I sold any prints through the site during that time as the inventory totals don't show until after the artist has been paid for the orders received, which of course I won't be given this snafu, so if you ordered a print of mine through ArtSpots and your order was canceled, please write me and I can ship you a print directly:

They've been promising some customers refunds for over a month. It wasn't until one of them went public on the forums with how disappointed she was with the service that they made a public announcement.

So if a reader is a customer, keep in touch with them, be the squeaky wheel!

Yeah I don't really keep up with the forums so I only just now found out about this :P Sucks. I really like ArtSpots.

I guess the only alternative is DevArt prints. But honestly? Fuck that...

I don't like DA mostly because they take such a huge cut out of what the artist gets.

Yeah, that's why I don't like DA either. That and the MASSIVE price for what should be a $10 print...it ends up being $30...

Artspots can't even be arsed to answer inquiries 80% of the time. No surprise that it couldn't keep up with its print service...

It is notable however the original founder sorda lost his spark and let the backlog build and build and not ask for help which meant it got as bad as it did. Now Tilton's taken over hopefully things will pick up again, I'm hopeful at least :/
