ACEO cards
I really wanted to work with colored pencils this weekend so as a break, I busted out some old colored paper (dark blue with white flecks, purdy!) I had lying around and my now 1" short colored pencils XD Big thanks to vantid for the tips!

gorgeous!

I've always loved working on black (or dark colours) with whites and other light colours.

I love your choice in animals too... huskies and polar bears remind me of growing up (I grew up in Yellowknife, NWT, Canada)

You know... I think I'll have to get myself some coloured paper, just to do some stuff like this.

Also, I was just wondering about the whole ACEO thing. I know what ATC's are... and I understand that ACEO's are the kind that you sell, but I guess I mean, how popular are these? Do you trade them?

Re: gorgeous!

I don't trade them, I just sell them. I am part of the ACEO Furs Exchange so I guess I've traded them before in that sense but the ones I do like these I just sell. I mostly use them for practice because they're so small and I get a feeling of accomplishment XD

You should totally look into dark colored paper though! I prefer it for colored pencil work.

Re: gorgeous!

I guess they would be a nice accomplishment... getting a whole picture done, even if it is small.

Do you recommend any kinds of paper, or do you think I'd be able to find something suitable at Staples?

Re: gorgeous!

I got a pack of "Strathmore" brand colored paper, it's just a mix of lots of different colors. I don't think you could get it at staples though they mostly have little kids craft paper which isn't the same thing. Aaron Brothers or Michaels sure.

Re: gorgeous!

*sigh* I was worried about that.

Looks like I have to take a trip. The closest Michael's is an hour away, and I have no vehicle >.< Thanks for the help :3

It's so hard to find furry art of polar bears, I just love it when I see 'em. ^_^

Really? I would have imagined them to be pretty popular.

You'd think so, since they're gorgeous! :) But while porn images of them abound on FA, it's difficult to find something that is beautiful and doesn't have a wang hanging out. Is why I like yours so much. ^_^

Nice! I love their breath mingling with the shooting stars.
