i really dont like it when people draw belly buttons on weres. especially when the belly buttons dont look like them at all, but look like sheathes instead. its disgusting. dogs dont have holes in their tummies, why should weres?

Current Mood: weird weird

Dogs don't have holes in their tummy, true, but weres aren't dogs, they are semi-human, so why shouldn't they? :}

Dogs kinda do, since you do cut the imbliacacord(sp?) which I'm having experance with right NOW since a dachsund is having puppies and I'm left in charge AGAIN.. *grumbles*..

*does not like whelping puppies*

But no they don't have a iny but you still can find it, so I think more correctly it should be an outty belly button or some mark indicating there WAS something there..

But them looking like sheiths is kinda... disturbing...

Thing I have issuses with is that dogs aren't really fuzzy around their genital area. So when a canine stands up it SHOULD be skin or skin showing not fooffy fur purrsay..

That depends, if you mean "were" as meaning werewolf(leopard,hyena,ect.) why not, they are after all transformed humans.

Even if you mean "were" in the way that people are now calling more realistic anthros even then they might. After all, an anthro is presumably capable of higher thinking and speech and thus a larger brain like ours which means usually one baby(or twins) at a time. Which means their pregnancy would mirror ours and presumably the after effects would be much like the ones we have, ie, belly button.

yeah i know what you mean, and logically youre right. like i said before though, if youre going to draw them, at least make them look good. i see people who draw them and they end up looking like genitals and its disgusting. im like..wait..this is a female character. and theyre all" oh i know.thats their belly button" =P it grosses me out.
but furries on one end are a totally different story. here im talking about weres, not necessarily werewolves and monsters and stuff..but like the things that people think theyre spiritually connected to. sure they have a belly button, but does their fursona have to have one to? and as Meezer said, in reality that portion of their stomach wouldnt have any hair on it, so it WOULD be visible, but the way most people draw them, they wouldnt be visible under all that fur, so it ends up looking like a divet or a sheath.
