Niko: Wanted - Western

Thornwolf and Skorzy's Big Adventure pt. 1

After what can best be described as the hellish week to end all hellish weeks, skorzy had the bright idea to invite me on a little impromptu road trip.

Behold the Cabazon dinosaurs! World's biggest dinosaurs (by design not by chance?) You will remember these from Pee Wee's Big Adventure, but since then there's been a change of ownership and they're used as the spokes dinos for a Christian group to explain creationism.

Thornwolf and Skorzy's Big Adventure pt. 2

The folks who now own the Cabazon dinosaurs have tried to make more money off of these attractions by putting a whole dinosaur park together for the kiddies, complete with dino digs and crudely made dinosaur statues. They had this bizzarro "Knights vs. Dinosaurs" theme going on that I just didn't understand though.

It was kind of cool though because they thought that skorzy and I owned a brewery because we were both coincidentally wearing beer related shirts XD

RAPTORS RAPTORS RAPTORS

The raptors get their own entry. D: Suddenly that recurring dream I keep having of being chased into an elevator by velociraptors just took on a whole new level of scary.

Adventures in the Blue Coyote!

For the past several months all of my friends have been independently raving about this place called "The Blue Coyote" out in Palm Springs, where they're known for their killer margaritas. I've never been able to go before but now was my chance!

Unfortunately...with me being me, I had a bit of a mishap involving my drivers license. No driver's license = no drinko for the Niko D:

It turned up in a most unlikely place.

Cactus to the Pines tram ride!

When I was a kid my dad said "Alright we're going to Palm Springs, bring a sweater". Palm Springs being of course one of the more happening desert hangouts, I couldn't figure out why he was asking me to wear a sweatshirt to a sweltering wasteland. Upon arrival, we hopped a tram that took us to the top of these incredible mountains, and within 15 minutes I went from sweating bullets in the desert heat to being appropriately dressed for cross country skiing in the mountain snow.

skorzy opted to take me for a day hike up in these mountains, which luckily was a good 40 degrees cooler than where we were staying in the desert, and just a short 8500+ft trip straight up!
