What is your favorite type of medium to use?
What type of pictures do you prefer to draw?
What style do you prefer to use in your art?
What’s the deal with your characters markings?
What are your plans/hopes for your future?

Rar. Random. I asked.

for Quicksilver

-favorite medium: my tablet. i love the freedom of it and the way everything looks a billion times better than if i were to sketch it out on paper. not to mention theres that handy undo button =)

-favorite pictures: well, i enjoy drawing weres because i love drawing realistic wolves, but i REALLY enjoy drawing pics that are humorous with lots of expression, ie: my muttropolis comics. i love facial expressions

- style: well, like i said i like weres, but thats not really "me". id say the cleanly inked yet expressive style is my fave..more comic bookish if you will..

-which character's markings are you talking about?
Thorn: she originally started out as a white wolf. i love white wolves, but i wanted to make her unique so i added a grey stripe down her back, *i really enjoy that on buckskin horses and i thought that would be pretty cool*, but then i thought if i did that i had to make something else gray, so i added a little gray on her head. it wasnt until about a year ago that i made her tail grey and had her have gray hair. i thought it would be prettyf un to have long flowing curly hair on a wolf girl. as far as the diamond, i thought it would be a nice tough to break up the gray on her face. the dark around her eyes..well, i have a preference for dark/mysterious eyeshadow and thought it would look good with her yellow eyes..makes em stand out.

Niko: this is a bit more interesting IMO. the dark around her eyes was because i used to wear dark gray eyeshadow to make my eyes stand out. i didnt put it on heavily, but it was clear that it was darker, i had a passion for the "evil" look back then and made my thick eyebrows all pointy and sexy and the gray eyeshadow just looked kickass. the markings on her feet come from A: my tanlines i get in summer and B: i wear converse allstars..so you get that "bugs bunny" look to em..
The stripe down her back represents my natural haircolor. no matter what color Niko's hair is dyed, that stripe will stay the same. the gray on her body, well, i used to..*and still do* wear a lot of gray and was known for my gray sweatshirt. shes half husky for my loyal side and half wolf for my wild side..so all in all id say shes a pretty good representation of myself physically =) and no..shes not my wereside, none of my characters are..

-plans for the future: hopefully to become a storyboard artist or comic artist. i love sequential art and am somewhat of a "quick sketch". i REALLY enjoy drawing lots of movement and single frame pictures with lots of emotion conveyed...anyone have any hookups or anyone that needs a storyboard artist, please contact me =)

thank you!
