>=( you sir, have just seriously insulted me. i am NOT fuzzy. i am NOT male, i am female. and yes, i know CW and Pardo and all them, but i honestly dont think they would have anything to do with someone who goes around insulting people in their own journal.

its okay. to be quite honest this happens to me a LOT. All i ask is that next time you can do yourself a favor. when you aren't sure of someones gender, do all or either of the following:
A: Check their lj user info. Mine for example says my name is Nicole. I dont know about you, but ive never met a guy named Nicole. this can get difficult with androgynous names like "Chris", "Pat" or "Jordan". then you may have to..
B: ask a mutual friend. in this case, all of the people you mentioned would know for a fact what gender i am, and im sure they would have been perfectly fine with telling you
C: read through their journal. chances are if they start talking about cramps, periods or boobs, theyre not of the male persuasion. =)

hope i helped! and dont worry, i found it kind of amusing after the whole "innitial shock" thing. the reason i got so peeved was because not 2 days ago i was getting flustered over someone else thinking i was a male, and i guess that was the straw that broke the camel's back. sorry if i seemed harsh in any way.

Now that I've made an ass of my self

Yep, you got that part right. :p Remember what they say about assuming?

Thorn uses icons of her favourite male characters (see the Jay & Silent Bob movies for more information), not herself (she did have an icon where her RL self is pictured with her boyfriend - that should shed some light on her gender - but it's since been replaced). Thorn's not the only person I know who's icons don't reflect their gender. I have a friend who has a Babs Bunny icon as his default.

Please, please, PLEASE think seriously before this happens again. I mean, would you like it if someone comes into your journal seemingly by random and makes assumptions about your gender based on incomplete evidence?

(Sorry Thorn, this doesn't happen often, as far as I know.)
