Lonely again...
Well Tavis is gone. I just got back from dropping him off at the airport. You'd think with the amount of times we've done the short visit thing it would get less painful, but it doesnt.

We had a good visit though, and I think I'll be content until we can see each other again *which will most likely be around Warped Tour time so we can see Bad Religion..WOO!*

We went out to eat sushi 3 times during his visit here, which was expensive, but was well worth it. I havent had sushi since the last time I saw him over 8 months ago. Need da wasabi!

The first time Tav and I went to sushi he presented me with a beautiful silver bracelet! It's so purdy! Tav has such good taste *wiggles wiggles wiggles* =D Thank you wuffy boy! *lick*

I had to leave him home while I was at work and whatnot so he had some time to bond with Jesse, which was absolutely adorable. They had a couple of backyard adventures involving a giant lizard they found as well as some snuggle time. I think Jesse loves Tavis more than she loves me 0_o I have the cutest picture of them cuddling up with each other, and another even cuter one of them touching paws. Awwwwww!!

Tavis, Kura and I went to guitar center and wandered around there for a bit so we could get some quality time with Kura in. I'm glad Tav is friends with my friend...it makes things so much easier. Tavis is such a sweetheart though, he bought me new Elixer strings for my guitar and restrung it for me. *loves* He's also teaching me how to play it, which will be a good thing, and I've already learned a little from him =) I just gotta keep practicing with my fingering and whatnot so I can show some improvement for the next time I see him.

On Wednesday, Dad took my entire department at work out to dinner at this really nice/expensive steakhouse and Tav got to come with me. I had steak and lobster and he had Mahi Mahi....can you say "drool"? Very tasty indeed. So, I'm sure you can imagine that we ate very very well during his stay here.

Speaking of eating..I honestly think the highlight of our visit was when we took our trip to Hollywood on Thursday. We went to the Mann Chinese Theatre, took a walk down the walk of fame and went to this really wicked awesome mall that had a Babylonian theme. It's the mall that Ryan Seacrest does his show from, and we got to see that stupid TRL-esque window he stands in front of *gag*. We ate at this restaurant called "Vert", which was one of Wolfgang Puck's restaurants. Tavis, being the food channel freak that he is of COURSE had to go there, and I didn't mind taking him since Wolfgang Puck's food is just oh so tasty tasty =D

I had this veal marsala dish and he had shortribs in onion sauce and man oh man was it tasty!! Tav also got a couple of espresso martinis and I had half of one as well (it went really well with the veal...mmm). But, here's the kicker: The entire time we were there we were wondering "is wolfgang puck here? nah..he wouldnt be.." But on our way out a gray haired man with a german accent said "goodbye have a good day!" to us.....and holy shit..it was Wolfgang Puck!!!! WOO we met Wolfgang Puck!! Heh..wolfgang puck doesnt card for martinis =>

We walked around the mall for a bit then went down to Sunset Boulevard and then onto Beverly Hills trying to find the Santa Monica Pier. After what seemed like forever, we finally found it and rode some of the rides there, took some pics and got a funnel cake. Also, we were trying to figure out where the Shore Shack would be if it existed, since Rocket Power is based in Santa Monica. We're cartoon dorks =)

*sigh* I miss him already. I don't know how I'm going to last 3 months. Granted, its not as long as last time, but still. Now I'm going to gorge myself in easter candy and mope until he calls me from his connection in Denver.

When you're doing the long-distance thing, it -never- gets easier until you get to see your significant other more often. Even now that I get to see Nate every other weekend, it's hard for me not to tear up when he leaves! So I totally know where you're coming from.

I don't mean to be a part-pooper but at least you're allowed to see each other. It'll be at least another year before I can meet up with my boyfriend...his parents are making it very difficult on us =^/

It is nice that you can see eachother, but I don't know how you can stand it. I would have gone crazy by now!

I think the fact that we hardly ever get to see each other and have never had the "constant togetherness" makes it easier. All I know is, the more we see each other, the harder it is to say goodbye.
