GRRR!!! - The art of Thornwolf — LiveJournal
Well that does it. I've just about given up all hope to getting my stupid Berserker drawing in that shapeshifter book. I wrote the woman, not once, but TWICE regarding the pic. First, telling her that I had one in the works, second, giving her the link. I have not gotten a response and its been over 2 and a half weeks since I finished that thing.

She responded to gearpony. She responded to dragoncreator, heck she even responded to frisket17 who only had a sketch of her selkie drawing, but at least she responded stating that it had promise once she finished inking it. All I ask for is a little short e-mail that says "thank you for your submission", or a "no sorry thats not what were looking for" or even a "thank you". Nope. Nada. Nothing.

That really makes me mad. If she's going to deal with artists who are supposed to give /her/ art, she better well respond to their e-mails.

Dagnabbit this makes me bitey, despite my already awful day >=O

Current Mood: pissed off pissed off

Bleh, that's kinda annoying. I've found that the majority of people tend to flake out more often than not when it comes to stuff done over the net. Speaking of which I'm really dreading trying to find a sprite artist for the game I've been working on. I've had so many people in the past show interest but then never come through with any sort of work they promised =\.

Yeah, I totally understand. I want to get a little bit more a game together before I start looking as well. It's a lot easier to have someone commit to a project when they have something tangible to work with.

Thanks for the hint :). I think were still two or three weeks away from looking seriously for an artist, but I'll keep her in mind.

Maybe she was so stunned by your beautiful picture, she had a heart attack. That would be a good reason, no? :)

I'm sure she'll ge back to you. She's just a little delayed. Remember, the rest of us sent our pictures in and got replies before you even sent yours in. Do you know what state she lives in? For all we know she could be here in Florida with no eletricity. It could have gone out before she had a chance to check her mail.

I know it feels personal but I'm sure it isn't. Heck, I'm waiting on a reply from a gaming company that showed interest about a week ago. But I'm almost certain that their just to busy to reply right now.

*Hugs hugs hugs*

Thank you. It just really irks me that I sent her my pic, then Frisket sent her pic...Frisket got a reply, I didn't. =/

I'd send it again cuz maybe she didnt see it and thought it was spam (although the title was Your Shapeshifters Book) but i dont wanna be obnoxious.

I just sent her an email with submissions, so we shall see what happens. Since I was in the first book, maybe she will reply?
