Inspired by randerzoid, I decided to play around with styles a bit. Thorn ala Spumco! God I'm rusty...

Amusing. Aside from the eyelashes, Thorn doesn't look very effeminate, but it doesn't look bad at all.

Nice work!

Wow, don't you look trust-worthy! *grin* Add a plaid jacket and a nervous twitch and you'd make the perfect used car salesman. Or hell, go the full nine yards, black out a couple teeth and you could pass for a carny. *laugh*

Needs more folds of flesh. That and/or warts.

Also, John would have a fit 'cause of the circular pupils.

Re: YES! thanks for that.

Just passing through.

John would also probably point out that the perspective on the feet is broken, and give you an impromptu clinic on perspective as it applies to cartoon characters, and end up telling you to go buy the Preston Blair books and copy from them to learn.

But yeah. Meaty, dimensional folds of flesh and the odd wart.

Keep in mind that this is the late nineties John K. I'm talking about; the first-season R&S era John K. loved to break a lot of the rules he later swore by, and a rueful running joke around the studio is that he'd rip apart most of his own drawings from then.
