I am however glad I'm not at Ocean Shores anymore. Since the warning was for the Seattle area as well.

Ocean Shores hrm? And here I thought you were talking about that imaginary Santa Monica look alike town from that show "Rocket Power" hee hee

I live in a world of puuuure imagination... Ocean Shores is in my miiind..
*makes a crooked crosseyed face at you*

I'm like the Willy Wonka of furry-land. I make figures instead of chocolate and have no intention of holding a golden ticket contest. *whispers* my cats are my Oompa-Loompa slaves. LMAO

*is being VERY random and making no sense. I blame my pain medication*

SO.... Did you feel the earthquake?

We don't get too many here. Every couple of years we have a 6.5 or 7.0. Then everyone freaks out for a couple of weeks, the stores are packed with people buying flashlights, canned food and water. It's madness!

The last one we had was a 7.0 I believe. ONE building had some damage... just one, and it was a couple of bricks falling down. EVERYONE decided to panic over it. It was great. lol I think I was in bed, if I remember correctly. lol

. . .Okay, that's just freaky. I don't live there anymore, but last night I DID have a dream that I ended up stuck in a building right on the shoreline when a huge tsunami hit. Afterwards, I wandered around the building and. . .the results were graphic. Let's just say a lot of people didn't make it to safety. ::shudder::

This is kinda like how I felt when I moved to the Gulf Coast of Texas and three tropical storm/hurricane things headed right for me. I was hysterically amused.

Aw man, for a second, I thought I was going to get to see some action... (not that I actually live in the Bay Area, just an occasional commuter)

My sister lives in San Jose and called us sounding terribly worried about it. But now I guess it's called off. What a relief.
