Yay :D - The art of Thornwolf — LiveJournal
Yay :D
Wow thank you guys so much for responding to my poll!

Looks like I'm going to be producing this thing this month afterall. Some questions came up that I figured I'd answer here:

The demensions will be 8.5" X 11", black and white, bound with a clear pastic report cover and a slip on "spine" so it doesn't puncture the pages and they can be easily removed if you'd like to for whatever reason (Thornwolf wallpaper? ZOMG)

There will be multiple sketches on each page and each page will also include comments from the artist (meeeee) giving a bit of insight into what the drawings are all about.

Page number has yet to be determined but it will be somewhere between 15 and 30 but again, please keep in mind that a lot of my sketches are smaller while some may be larger, and there will be multiple sketches per page so this does cut down on the space quite a bit.

Upon ordering you will have the option of me signing it or not, if you would like me to sign it I'd be happy to oblige, if not, that's fine, please just say so but I will only sign it upon request. Some folks prefer these things unsigned so..I can respect that. You are also free to resell these if you decide you don't want them anymore. That's actually why I chose the binding that I did, that way when folks thumb through it it doesn't get all bent and nasty and still looks pristine. I will also be putting the number of pages on the cover and numbering the pages so in case someone /does/ resell it they don't yoink favorite pages out without the buyer noticing ;P I only ask though that there be absolutely no unauthorized copying/reprinting of course.

Any other questions/comments, please just ask =)

Hey Thornwolf. Just stumbled upon your art journal while looking at the list of people on my LJ college directory oddly enough: http://www.livejournal.com/schools/?ctc=US&sc=CA&cc=Laguna+Beach&sid=551 You don't go to Laguna...do you? If so, how in the world did I miss that?

Anywho, I'll be watching this journal now.

I actually found your journal through that school search ;) No I don't currently go to Laguna but I have taken some courses there in the past and since its applicable as credits I figured I might as well include that in my schooling.

You go there currently? Do you have Mr. Stubbs for figure drawing? He owns my soul @_@

Ahh, spiffy.
Yup, I'm in my third semester there at the moment. Never had Stubbs but I have heard much about him since one of my roommates had him for artistic anatomy last year. Actually it's funny that you mention him because I actually saw him for the first time ever today since his anatomy class was right after my figure drawing class.

What other teachers have you had from here?

One really horrible one I can't remember his name though for some reason. He's really nitpicky and taught "the fundamentals of drawing" and he paints pictures of plastic toys in really flat colors, hes got brown hair and a goatee and I'd say hes about in his 40's and acts kind of gay but isn't. God I couldn't stand him.

Jonathan Burke possibly? Does he sort of have a stutter? I've never had a class with him but he subbed my drawing class once and I remember him being rather nitpicky.

YES! omg thats him.

He kept telling my friend that her cubes looked like they were sliding off the page as they were out of perspective. Well, to me, they didn't look /that/ bad. THen he showed us one of his paintings and oh..my god..I shit you not the cube he drew looked more like some kind of odd trapezoid that was sliding off the page. We pointed it out to him and he goes "no!" then Mr. Stubbs said "actually they're right"

Heh pwned ;)
