of course we get fireworks, the fire marshall and special groups set them off though and folks with permits. any yokel cant set off fireworks in their backyard cuz they might start a brushfire. :D

As Thornwolf says, it's a brushfire problem. I don't like it, but when the summer heat hits, the hills around here are the botanical equivalent of napalm.

But yeah, I love 'em, too.

Well, anything within about 3 miles of La Habra, or all over LA. Uh... anywhere in Corona or NorCo.

I nearly got hit by a stray falling from the sky 2 years back while getting out of my truck to pull a cover shift at work (La Habra). A co-worker with me did get a bullet right through the bed of his S-10. :/

I love loud fireworks, the ones that go off with a crisp, chest thumping Bang! I've done 4th of July ceremonies within the safety cordon with the rifle team, and actually "Started" the 4th fireworks at the end of our ceremony at the City of Martinez's ceremony a few years ago. We were on an army transport boat, and were so close, my ears rang, and our uniforms got ash on them. It was awsome!! It's all about "The boom!"
