Some pics of my drive home from shooting that one day.

It was a really long drive out in the middle of nowhere, but made for some good photo ops.

California, somewhere by Temecula but farther east.

Remove the cactii, add some blueberry bushes, throw a bog in here and there and you've got parts of Canuckia.

Very pretty.:)

Ooh, looks like a close cousin to our landscape (northern CO).

Hope you had a good time shooting! Be careful though - it'll suck you in and make you pay the big bucks. :

Holy crap, I know that road like the back of my hand! Wilson Valley Road, yes? That's like ... 2 or 3 miles from my family's ranch.

**GRIN!!!** I knew it! Ever drive by Bergman's Museum? ;)

Down at the bottom of Wilson Valley Road is Reed Valley Road. Now I don't know about approaching from that angle, but I do know that creek that flows through there very well. Higher up its canyon and closer to Lake Riverside are some really awesome little caves made by that creek. In that canyon where the caves exist you can still see stone-wall fortifications where the Cahuilla Indians ambushed the Temecula Indians back in the 1800's when they were having their wars.

Thanks for posting some pics of VERY familiar scenery. :)
