Hey guys. Cats don't have sheaths.

I don't get it but for some reason I keep seeing illustrations and sculptures with lions with big fat dongs hanging from their bellies as they would be on a dog. WTF guys...haven't you ever seen a cat spray? They're flexible but not /that/ flexible.

Stop drawing sheaths on cats plz if you draw them non anthro. If you draw them anthro..well..I guess I can't stop you from doing whatever the fuck you want but non anthro cats should not have sheaths.

:D

Oh and bunnies don't have pawpads either. D:

I like when someone doodles a huge pic of a wolfguy with a hand on his ass and other hand around the crotch area, looking all seductivally and all of that jazz, and procedes to put it on a public view on a large resolution on his or hers blog, as if THE LACK OF THE PEENER AND BOLLOCKS WOULD SOMEHOW RANDER THE PIC OUT OF THE ERO-BUSINESS.

I know and it's really disappointing because I think lions are hot.

I found an artist the other day who'd done a pic of two lion taurs fooling around and they had accurately shaped penises. =D I cheered.

But yes ... no sheaths. This is why my older boy was considered a girl for awhile. Until he decided he needed to groom his penis while I was drying his tummy. (He'd jumped in the bathtub.)

I admit, because it's a bit of a habit for me...I'll put it on -anthro- cats. But I never draw non-anthro cats enough to do so, so I'll keep that one in mind..as you do have a very good and true point. :P

;_; I've drawn bunnies with paw pads before, but that's because I wasn't paying attention ;_; ;_; ;_;

I don't draw bunnies, but honestly until Vannie pointed that out I didn't know it either, but never gave it much of a thought. Now I notice it EVERYWHERE.

Ignorance is bliss.

I used to think that bunnies have pawpads too until I picked up a book on drawing animals.

To make you feel better about your childhood animal cruelty i swung a dog by its tail when I was 5.

That dog later died of like...i dont konw..but it kept having siezures. I felt responsible D:

Yeah, seems like a lot of folks don't understand that their penis is "backwards" and is located below their bung-hole. Not a very obvious feature and thus why male/female domestic cats are often mistaken for the other gender.

But the lions and other cats do have sheaths!

They just don't look like canine sheaths. Male lions present a sort of "fruit bowl" from behind. Rather than have a sheath attached to the abdomen by a frenulum, the fenine sheath hangs free.

Oh, and like dogs, they also have "red rockets" but, again, they don't look like what a canine has.

Here are some NOT WORK SAFE picture as examples that show exactly what male lion bits look like.

Re: But the lions and other cats do have sheaths!

Sir, I am in the furry fandom. I know what animal dongs look like =)

Thanks though. And yes I am aware they have sheaths, but when people think of a sheath they think of the ones that MOST quadropedal mammals have that goes along the belly.

Re: But the lions and other cats do have sheaths!

I am well aware that you are in the fandom and figured that you were knowledgeable about such things, however, the way you worded your original post seemed to indicate otherwise. I’m sure you can understand my confusion.

Anyway, this was more for the benefit of anybody else who might be curious since most people apparently draw male lion bits incorrectly according to your observations. Honestly, I've never played that much attention to how people draw male lions, so I'll take your word for it.

That was all I was getting at. I did not mean to imply that you were not savvy to this fandom’s intricacies. You have my apologies for coming across this way.
