Art - Personal
I've had this idea running around my head for awhile, finally decided it was time to get it down on paper. Plus I needed a break from my usual stuff.

I think Hanukkah needs a mascot....and a few less ways to spell the holiday.

I'm wondering if it would be worth it to send the design to a greeting card company, but I'd honestly not know where to start to do that. Suggestions?

That would be a PERFECT greeting card. :D I'm afraid I haven't any suggestions for how to go about that, but I love the design and I hope you can take it somewhere.

HA! That's great!
You know that would be prefect for like the Shoebox greeting card line. I think it's Hallmark but not totally sure.
I don't know how to tell you to contact them though other than troll through the websites looking for any kind of contact info and then just a lot of emailing to find the right person to show it to.

Good luck!

I'd normally say to get ahold of this year's Artist's Market, but that's a US publication and you're in Germany. Besides, you're too late for this year's holiday season. You'd want to submit that for 2007.

But I think it's a fabulously funny idea for a card.

I know that both Hallmark and American Greetings does NOT buy ideas/freelance work. You'd have to be working for their studio. *shrug* Try some local ones?

lol Hm.. what about including the rest of the greeting, something like...
"Why don't you call! I've slaved away night and day picking up after you, and how do you repay me? You forget about me. You're sister calls me. You're uncle calls me. You don't even drop by to say hi anymore." < yeah, something like that should do it.

This is probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen you do. I seriously want this to become a card.

This totally kicks ass. I hope SOMEONE buys it XD

The funny thing is in grade school like ALL my good friends were Jewish, but now barely any are...if it was 20 years ago I would've been able to buy a truckload of these come the holiday season.

You could publish them yourself at either Cafe Press www.cafepress.com or Zazzle.com. It is free to have basic accounts at both places. You earn a commission on sales and you set your own price. That would be the fastest way to get them out there.
