Duffman, can't breathe...OH no....
Living in Arizona means they have all sorts of weird and unusual foods available that I wouldn't find so readily available in California. Some are successes, some are failures D:

Tequila lollipop.

Arizona strangefood is fail NOT because it is strange, but because it caters to the long-since-past tourist trade for everything "Southwest." Anything POSSIBLY edible they'll put out there, because hey--it's the SOUTHWEST. It needs to be RUGGED and INDIAN and...eh, I'm glad it's mostly over. Or, I'm glad I'm in Phoenix where the push for Southwest curio died with the population increase.

Re: Tequila lollipop.

(hai I know you!)
HAHA those lollipops! yes they are EVERYWHERE.
they have a lot of bug stuff in general.

Prickly Pear things are good IMO though, that's one thing I don't mind seeing around here in AZ

Both prickly pears and cane sugar and lots of other things are available here in California.

Oh, not at all.

Here in the California State of Northern Mexico these things are available along with lots of others at the Neighborhood Markets.

Live in an area of L.A. well populated by Mexicans and you can get the stuff anywhere. There's a supermarket near me that has the stuff at good quality and cheap as chips.

If you really want to experiment, try a Durian. They're not Californian, but they are exciting and banned in many places.

Mmmm, sewerage fruit XD

I genuinely like prickly pear, especially if it was chilled before hand. Peeling them without getting tiny hairy thorns in your hand is too hard though.

Hehe, I love prickly pears, but only if they are fresh-picked and bright red. The insides of them taste like a mix of strawberry and watermelon to me, and make lovely jam. :)

Ahahaha ... I love your style when you draw comic scenes like this one! XD

It's incredibly funny!

(Anyway ... I wouldn't like to be at your place with prickly pears on my tongue) ;D
