Big Bear - The art of Thornwolf — LiveJournal
Big Bear
wa_lawdawg and I went to Big Bear last weekend since its only a hop skip and a jump away. We've been going there just about every weekend, but this weekend we were rained/snowed out. Boo. Anyways have some photos.

The difference between boys and girls...
Me: Oh how pretty!
Dan: It looks like an oil refinery D:

Don't be so apathetic about it! XD

Current Mood: cold cold

Where you live is so quaint and rustic.. I would LOVE to see it some day. o.o; I'm jealous! No WalMarts, Best Buys, KFCs and eyesore McDonalds... at least not in your photos of the place. :D

I love the first house on the right in the first photo! =) (my father works as responsible of advertising in a little company which build wooden houses) :P

What a nice view ... lights, mountains, pines and snow! (I would kill someone for some snow) XD

The building in the fourth and fifth photo looks like a french-german building. (... and I can see the Italian flag on its facade! yay!) XD ahahahaha

Ah, you're going to make me envious! ;D XD
If could ... I'would come tomorrow! But I don't have time and money for a trip like this at the moment! :( ... and I have this damned university that blocks me too - it's a martyrdom!!!
(The stupid thing of Spain is that only in Madrid there're intercontinental flights, and there're more than 540 km between my town and that airport!)

Oh, great to see pictures from there! I used to live up in those mountains and at times I still kinda miss it. We lived in a house overlooking Lake Gregory, on the other end of the range. Have you done the Oktoberfest there in Big Bear? It's small, but a lot of fun!

Btw- the Big Bear army and navy surplus store= GREAT place for German uniforms! I bought a wool jacket there for $4. :)

I went to Oktoberfest briefly but since I was with some family friends and we were going to lunch I didn't go drink or anything.

And seriously? woo...I didn't see that! Do you know what its located around? (ie: close to the christmas mart, closer to the arcade..etc) I'll have to go back and look :D
