Ah-ehm *Adjusting glasses like a pretentious Professor* :P ... That's a Deynonichus, the "large version" of a velociraptor. XD

Spielberg probably decided to show something bigger in his movies, but using a easier name. ;)
I had a dream about being chased by raptors too when I was at the institute, but I Knocked Out them all using my (very heavy) walking stick and a bit of Aikido ... XD ahah!

Oh I know, but apparently the curators and my dreams of SCREAMING DEATH CHICKENS don't XD

I love how in the later movies they decided to attempt to give them feathers and start calling them Utah Raptors *facepalm*

*finds it on Google Earth*

They must have done a lot of additions recently. The only things visible on GE are the brontesaurus and t-rex.

Still, it's close enough for me to take a look. About 60 miles away. :)

yeah all that other stuff is new, it used to just be the dinosaurs and the "Wheel Inn" restaurant (you can see the sign for it, it just says "EAT" in the photo from inside the Rex mouth) It's definitely worth the trip!

I can see that scientists are successful in extracting velociraptor D.N.A. from a 70 million year old mosquito fossil.
