Some actual classwork!

Rhythm Speed Painting

Speed painting done for class, less than 4 hours. Not the best I could have done but considering the time frame I had to work in, I'm pretty happy with it.

The assignment was to draw something that represented the rhythms in a song. I picked a Dernier Volonte song, Les Armes Du Temps.

The mountains are inspired by Yosemite, the rock formation inspired by Vasquez Park, but mostly it's just out of my head.

Cal State San Berdoo. The class is the most basic class you can get: Intro to 2D design, but while everyone else was making color wheels my teacher was really awesome and gave me something more advanced to do for my final project. He knew I was taking this class to go through the motions of doing what's necessary for gen-ed before I start the classes in my major, so it was nice to be challenged. Plus I've already painted like...3 color wheels throughout the years D:
